Practice PoliciesWe are a small business providing livelihood for 20 families. We expect payment in full at the time of service so that we can continue to provide our services in our community.
We welcome people who are covered by most major medical insurances. Please contact your insurance provider/employer to understand your coverage. If your policy requires a “co-pay” this must be paid at the time of service, or our practice would be in violation of the insurance provider agreement. If you do not have to co-pay at the appointment, we will be glad to reschedule you at a later time.
If you have no medical insurance coverage, we offer a variety of payment options that we can arrange prior to your visit.
Patients with unpaid balances or without co-pays will not be treated until past due bills or current co-pay are paid.
The first visit to our office will be an opportunity to discuss your current problem and determine if we shall enter into long –term Physical patient relationship. We have many who come just for sick visits and maintain their primary care physicians for chronic medical conditions. We are glad to provide you with this service.
We do not treat patients for their long-term chronic pain. We refer to regional specialists in pain management, as the practice of drug diversion is rampant in our community.
Under North Carolina law we have the right to terminate the Physician-patient relationship over issues such as medical non-compliance, drug abuse and diversion, missed appointments, among others. The NC Board of Medical Examiners governs these procedures.
