Our full-service in-house lab:
At Ashe Medical Associates we have a full in-house lab. This allows testing to be done very efficiently, for patient convenience. Our lab is COLA/CLIA accredited and was recently awarded the COLA Laboratory Excellence Award, the highest award given to a lab during a COLA inspection. Our lab does a wide range of clinical testing for patient care and also performs drug testing for industrial medicine. Employers interested in pre-employment or post accident testing can inquire about services by calling Ashe Medical Associates during regular office hours and asking for either Shawn, Barb, or Teresa.
Commercial Driver’s License Exams:
North Carolina DMV will provide commercial driver's license forms only to patients, not to medical offices. Anyone who comes for the CDL “card” exam should pick up the forms and card at the DMV office in Jefferson.
We offer a special price for those drivers not covered for the exam by their medical insurance.
